Bike Hire Terms & Conditions

Identification Required

To hire a bicycle from Mighty Cycles, we require proof of identity before collection.

We accept:

• Passport

• UK or International Driving Licence

• National Identity Card (where applicable)

If you are visiting from overseas, your passport is sufficient as photographic identification.

We may also ask for one additional form of verification, such as:

• Hotel or accommodation booking confirmation

• Flight or travel confirmation

• Debit or credit card in the hirer's name

• Another form of identification showing your name

Security Deposit

A valid debit or credit card must be provided before collection. Card details will be securely retained for the duration of the hire period to cover any outstanding charges, damage, loss, theft, or failure to return the bicycle.

Returning Your Bike

Every bicycle is thoroughly inspected and photographed before it leaves our store and again when it is returned.

The bicycle must be returned in the same condition in which it was supplied, allowing for normal wear and reasonable dirt from riding.

If the bicycle is returned with damage beyond normal wear, missing accessories, or missing components, the cost of repair or replacement may be charged to the payment card held on file.

Looking After Your Hire Bike

While the bicycle is in your possession, you are responsible for its care and security. Please keep it locked whenever it is left unattended and follow all local traffic laws.

If you experience a mechanical problem during your hire, contact Mighty Cycles immediately. Please do not carry out repairs without our approval unless it is an emergency to make the bike safe.
