The SRAM PC-971 9-speed chain is a strong, reliable and hard-wearing bicycle chain designed for compatible 9-speed road and mountain bike drivetrains.

With 114 links, nickel-plated silver outer plates and grey inner plates, the PC-971 combines SRAM's proven PowerChain II technology with chrome-hardened pins for dependable shifting performance and long-lasting durability.

The PC-971 uses inner and outer plate designs developed from SRAM's higher-specification PC-991 chain, combined with nickel-plated outer plates and grey inner plates. SRAM's PowerChain II technology is designed to improve front and load shifting performance without sacrificing rear shifting precision.
